The soul as has been mentioned above is the hapless
passenger in the unending journey of life of the living entity.
However being a permanent fixture in the life of
the living entity, it also records the deeds of the entity during its endless
embodied forms.
The soul usually bases its continuous emanations to
the causal body of intelligence on these recordings.
However there are times when these transmissions
are based on those emanated to it from the super soul.
Spiritual as these transformations tend to be there
is a subtle difference in the raw facts that form the basis for such
emanations.
