In some cases these feelings are retained by the
mind and further transformed into devotion.
As has been mentioned somewhere
before, devotion is of 5 major forms:
Saintly devotion.
Devotion for God in the form of a servant.
Parental devotion where the devotee wishes to act
as parent for God.
Friendly devotion where the devotee wishes to be a
friend of god.
Conjugal love for god where the devotee wishes to
be a lover of
God and wishes God to enjoy the devotee’s company.
