The causal intelligence wants to conjure up ideas
independently. This results in further karma arresting the living entity and
trying to prevent the soul from going back to god.
Despite the fact that causal body is the first
layer of material body enveloping the soul, when a student of liberation begins
to meditate within himself/herself, the first layer he/she comes across is the
astral body consisting of senses in the lower half and mind in the upper half.
