On July 19th 1978 when I boarded the train to Delhi
I made a promise to
myself
that henceforth I shall make no friends. Srinivasan
was the first friend I made.
In the month of March 1979 I and Srinivasan saw
Mrs. Indira Gandhi who had
come to our locality. In the month of May 1980 I
wrote one group. In the month
of December 1980 I went to Kolkatta for a
conference. When I returned I was
dismayed to find that our house was having a
white wash. From July 1977 I
began suffering from water in the lungs which was
called pluerasy.
