Kunti was a very noble woman who due to her
curiosity and impetuousness gave birth to Karna as an unwed mother.
Later she became the wife of Pandu and became a
mother of the Pandavas.
However despite her royal life style she had to
suffer untold distress all her life, but thanks to her devotion for lord
Krishna and because he also happened to be her nephew, her sons ultimately
inherited Hastinapur.
