Humility,
lack of pride, nonviolence, tolerance, simplicity, learning from a bona fide
spiritual master, cleanliness, steadiness, self control, renunciation of
objects of sense, absence of false ego, the perception of birth, disease, old
age and death, nonattachment to family, even mindedness amid both pleasant and
unpleasant circumstances, unalloyed and constant devotion for god, love for
solitude, detachment from the masses, constant strive for self realization, and
search for supreme truth are all knowledge. The rest is ignorance.
