Despite
having been stung to the quick, the wretched receiver of this onslaught of
jeers & insults cannot retaliate for fear of being mobbed/cornered/jeered
at/ and attacked.
He/She has no other alternative but to swallow this insult and sulk.
Sometimes these same egoistic persons who torment others get a taste of
their own medicine. Someone who is equally or even more sadistic than them may
put these guys firmly on a receiving end.
This is the beginning of endless
venomous jibes that sting the receiver till his psyche gets blue with poison.
