Srimad Bhagavatam
The core of
wisdom is to understand the unity of self.
Modesty is
avoiding evil deeds.
Excellent character
is where the person disregards selfish considerations.
Happiness
arises where there is neither pleasure nor pain.
The learned
man can discriminate between bondage and freedom.
The ignorant
man identifies with the body.
The right path
is one that leads to god.
When Sattwa
dominates the mind it is heaven.
A man rich
in virtues is indeed a rich man.
A godly man
is one who is above sense gratification.
Divine is he
who has overcome both good and evil.
