Self Realization

                                                 Srimad Bhagavatam

There is nothing more purifying than the knowledge of the self.

When the mind is completely surrendered to the self within the heart becomes tranquil.

And thus one attains truth, knowledge, dispassion and divine power.

He also attains:

Calmness that ensures steady flow of thought towards god.

Self restraint that ensures control of senses.

Patience in bearing the burden of life cheerfully.

Steadiness is overcoming the palate and impulse of sex.

Non violence.

Valor in conquering the self.

Purity by non attachment to work.

Renunciation of the material world.

And the highest profit that is devotion to god.
