Self Realization

                                              Srimad Bhagavatam

Ego is the field that one has to cross to attain self realization.

This universe is the kingdom whose supreme ruler is god.

When one surrenders oneself to him, all one’s struggles are fructified.

God is the light of all lights and once one finds him, one is never subjected to repeated births and deaths.

Mind is the woman who changes frequently according to the gunas which are goodness passion and ignorance.

The husband is the divine self who gets into meshes of ignorance after it identifies with the mind.

When the self which is the husband, becomes a slave of mind the wife the self is subjected to the forces of the material world. These are happiness and misery, day and night, darkness and light, etc.

Maya is the river whose currents toss the entity hither and thither. As long as one is in the mercy of Maya he knows no peace and freedom.

The gross, subtle and causal bodies form the house in which the self resides.

The scriptures are the bird which sings about the differences between the real and the unreal. When the entity listens to the song carefully, the entity takes the first step towards self realization.

Time is the object in perpetual motion and it is time which makes this world move.

By reaching above the idea of time one attains peace.
