Other
examples of love for God:
1. Nirvikalpa
Samadhi is a most highly coveted form of devotion where a devotee is supposed
to remember god all the time.
2. During a spiritual discourse Sage Bhrigu took
up an assignment to find out who is the noblest among the triumvirate. This was
nothing if not unconditional love for god.
3. There
have been saints like Purandharadasa, Tyagaraja, Tukaram etc. who have sung
songs/hymns eulogizing god.
4. Devotees
get into holy communion with god through meditation.
5. There
have been numerous instances where devotees complained to & fought with
idols of god and demanded his/her intervention to quell their sorry state. One
such case was when Swami Yogananda Paramhansa cried and protested to god when
his mother died.
