Sage Valmiki who wrote the epic Ramayana was
actually a dacoit called Ratnakar. Swami Yogananda Paramhansa started the
internationally famous society YSS at the early age of twenty. Swami
Bhaktivedanta had two heart attacks some time before he started ISCKON the
international society. Though seventy by then, he made 14 round the world
trips, wrote several spiritual books and built 108 Krshna temples around the
world all within the next 11 years. Mahatma Gandhi stopped a communal riot just
by his own presence in the midst of warring groups.
