The soul
is supposed to be pure but looks tainted because of the body that envelops it.
Though
the souls in each living entity are actually sparks of the supreme whole, yet
because of the individual karma and thoughts of all the bodies viz. a tree, a
worm, a carnivorous beast, a herbivorous beast, a reptile, a bird, a fish, a
thief, a murderer, a cop, a lawyer, a philosopher, a poet, and a monk, they
form an individuality and look different.
