Determination
which is steadfast by yoga practice and which controls the mind, senses and
life is in the mode of goodness.
Determination
fixed on fruitive results, economic development and sense gratification is in
the mode of passion.
Determination
which cannot go beyond dreaming, fearfulness, lamentation, moroseness, and
illusion is in the mode of ignorance.
