The devotee is forever in a trance. The thought of god is always at the back of his/her mind.

The universe that a devotee visualizes is according to one’s preference, design and karma. This has inhabitants based on  the devotee’s interests. However a devotee looking within may be so fond of the astral or causal or spiritual world that he/she may not have living entities with gross bodies in his/her universe.
