The scholar and artist are in the goodness mode. They too have pure and creative thoughts but they crave for recognition, fame, fortune, notoriety, material happiness etc.

The soldier is in the mode of passion. He/she fights for the country or for a good cause. But here too he/she wants to exhibit his/her strength, expertise in warfare, heroism, valor and invincibility.
