It has
been specifically mentioned in the Bhagawad Gita that one should never get
complacent that divine retribution will not fall on him/her.
It is
not necessary that one who has become a human being will always remain a human
being. Depending upon one’s karma one can take birth as a saint, demigod, human
being, animal, reptile worm or even a tree. That is why there are so many
species of living entities.
