Spiritualism

Unless one shuns senses gratification one cannot become a yogi. One should always remember that one is just the inferior material and marginal energy of the lord. This marginal energy can become spiritual if one becomes god conscious and surrenders oneself to god unconditionally. So pleasant is service to god that one who practices it at once becomes blissful within oneself and thus develops a distaste for material things.
