Remember you can possess wealth but wealth should never possess you. This is 

called detachment and renunciation. Similarly your gross body should obey your 

subtle body which should in turn obey the causal body which must obey the soul 

which should necessarily be dovetailed to the super soul ie. God. A person who 

has achieved this becomes liberated and blissful.

Remember the moment you detach yourself from this body and abide in your consciousness you will at once become blissful, peaceful happy and free from bondage. 

Meditation is one method of detaching oneself from the body. This is called Jiwan mukti (Detaching oneself from the body even during the life.)

If you aspire for liberation eschew objects of senses as poison and crave for truth, 

forgiveness, straight forwardness, kindness and cheerfulness as nectar. You are 

self, mere witness to the happenings in the universe as pure consciousness. The 

gross body is merely a tool for the subtle and causal bodies to express themselves. 

An idea that germinates in the intellect, starts a thought process in the mind 

which result in the senses becoming active. These three causal and subtle bodies 

use the gross body made of ether/air/fire/water/earth to give ultimate vent to 

their ideas and feelings.

When the supreme self gets identified with the body it becomes the limited ego. 

The body consists of the gross body made up of ether, air, fire, water and earth, 

the subtle body consisting of the senses and the mind and the causal body is made 

up of intelligence. When the ego begins thinking that it is this body, it becomes 

entangled in unlimited births and deaths. This illusion ends with the knowledge 

of the truth and subsequent emergence of true Brahman which is infinite.

Remember that just like those who wear shoes to protect their feet are not hurt 

by thorns lying on the road,  similarly those who are learned and are contented 

under all conditions are never hurt by the thorns lying on the path of life.

True monks and sages have a childlike innocence and lack of guile. Remember 

that god does not pardon those who knowingly harm children, god’s sincere 

devotees, genuinely guileless and innocent people and monks. Even if these 

people personally pardon their tormentor, the guilty are sooner or later victims 

of nemesis.
