KNOW YOURSELF

1.  Not by abstaining from work nor by renouncing all can anyone attain liberation. Renunciation can be obtained only after the discharge of duties is over. This results in purification of heart. One must dedicate oneself in the transcendental service of God.

1.  This is the way of spiritual life attaining which man is not bewildered, and by leading it one reaches the kingdom of god after death. According to bhagawad gita life begins after the end of this material life. And one who is Krshna conscious, attains his kingdom after death.

1.  A person who has given up all objects of sense gratification, who lives free from all desires, who has given up all sense of proprietorship, and who is devoid of any false ego, can only attain peace. Because he is totally devoted to and surrendered to god and  lives only to satisfy him.

1.  That which is night for the common man is day for the self controlled and that which is day for the normal guys is night for the introspective sage.
