KNOW YOURSELF

1.  For one who has conquered his mind, the mind is the best of friends. He has already reached the super soul. A transcendentalist thinks about god all the time. As a lamp does not waver in a windless place a yogi never waver from his thoughts of god. A true yogi sees god in everything. A transcend list never falls down even if he meets some hindrances.

KNOW YOURSELF

1.  Unless one is rendering devotional service to the lord he should not renounce anything. One who works in devotion is dear to all. He is never entangled by the material world. Whatever he does is in Krshna Consciousness. He is aloof from all activities. The humble sage sees all living beings equally. A truly knowledgeable man looks within and thus attains Krshna consciousness.

KNOW YOURSELF

1.  One who sees action in inaction and vice versa is in a transcendental position. He or she acts in krshna consciousness. His actions are burnt up in the fire of perfect knowledge. He accepts the results of his action for what they are worth and is ever free from duality. Sacrifice of knowledge is better than sacrifice of material things. The purpose of all sacrifices is to attain the goal of transcendental loving service to lord. All living beings are part of god. Even the most sinful cross the ocean of miseries when one is situated in the boat of transcendental knowledge. The fire of knowledge burns all material activities to ashes.

1.  The four divisions in the society are created by god on the basis of the three modes of material nature namely goodness, passion and ignorance.

1.  Those who want quick results in fruitive activities worship the demigods and not the god. Demigods are parts and parcels of god delegated with various powers. The boons from demigods are material and temporary.

1.  One who knows about the transcendental nature of this incarnation gets freed from future births and deaths from this material world. He or she attains the abode of the lord.

1.  In order to deliver the pious and to annihilate the evil as well as to reestablish the principles of religion god manifests himself. A Krshna conscious person is called Sadhu (holy man). And one who ignores this aspect is called an evil man. God manifests himself primarily to save the holy but he has to annihilate the evil man in that process.
