Various are the occult powers a yogi gets from 

meditation. Nothing is beyond the reach of the sage 

who is self controlled, poised, and tranquil.

You have the right to do your duty but not the right to 

decide about its result. Never be attached to not doing 

your duty, nor be attached to the results.

KNOW YOURSELF

The chief purpose of all religious observations and spiritual practices is self control and perfection in meditation. When a man looks within he feels peace. One should learn to be contented in all circumstances.

KNOW YOURSEL;F

Life is a dense forest where men have got lost. As one sows one must reap. The present life shows one’s past as well as future. When one surrenders himself to god he expiates all sins.

KNOW YOURSELF

Be free from selfish desires. Remain poised in the midst of opposites in life. Seek and practice the truth. Seek not praise for thyself. Give up enmity and be friendly to all. Practice self control. Seek solitude. Control the breath and mind. Control thy speech. Be absorbed in god consciousness.

Learn to surrender thy will to the will of the lord. His will directs the world. None dares to disobey it. Our deeds lead us to different births. One can never run away from himself.

Ego is the cause for ignorance. When it is subdued spiritual consciousness shines forth. Thinking of objects attracts one to them. Once the senses are attracted the mind gets attached. When this attachment grows the mind loses all discrimination. This results in delusion. Delusion causes loss of memory. One forgets that he is a soul not the body. Lustful thoughts and the desire for material things are the greatest enemies and stumbling blocks for knowledge and divinity.

The wise man neither hates nor injures anyone. He sees the divine self in all. He does not get attached to the body. He knows that the soul which is witness to all is different from the body. He delights in god. He is attainable by love alone.
